Job Description

A CNC Programmer Machinist creates and optimizes programs for computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision parts. They translate blueprints and designs into machine instructions, set up and operate CNC equipment, and ensure parts meet quality standards. Their work involves programming, machine setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• High School Graduate or equivalent plus Trade or Vocational school training essential. Minimum of five years direct experience.
• Ability to read blueprints required
• Some tool and die making experience desirable.
• Math Skills: Good math skills will help to understand complex instructions, how schematics work and make sure items are designed and built correctly.
• Attention to Detail: CNC programmers will work with precision equipment. Being off by millimeters could be a critical error. Keen attention to detail is required.
