Ref #: 25777 Location: United States, Georgia, Atlanta Application Deadline: 20-Aug-2024 Overview & Key Responsibilities As part of the Customer Experience business unit, Airport Customer Service (ACS) and Cargo (CGO) directly impact Delta’s customers, from welcoming them at the ticketing counter to providing a clean and enjoyable airport experience, and ensuring on-time baggage arrival. ACS and Cargo support over 22,000 airport operations professionals across 300 destinations, 52 countries, and six continents. Students will work on multiple projects with airport operations professionals, including: Measuring and analyzing current performance Implementing project management practices Collaborating across business units with various stakeholders Providing process engineering and internal consulting services Participating in data collection for cross-functional projects Identifying and implementing process improvements to boost efficiency and performance Recommending and evaluating operational improvements for customer service Students will work in one of these teams: Airport Customer Service (ACS), Cargo (CGO), or Global Clean. The program requires three alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA. Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Aviation Management, or similar Available for three alternating semesters Professional presentation and effective communication skills Team-oriented with support for continuous improvement methodologies Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Willingness to learn new skills Embraces diversity in people, thinking, and styles High school diploma, GED, or equivalent At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Ability to analyze large data sets and communicate insights effectively Comfortable working independently and in teams Leadership experience in student or community organizations Effective presentation skills for leadership communication Interest in learning leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution techniques Interest in the airline industry and Delta as a company Additional Details Seniority level: Internship Employment type: Internship Job functions: Other Industries: Airlines and Aviation, Travel Arrangements, Hospitality Note: This job posting is active and accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr Delta Air Lines
