Role: Compliance Consultant Location: Newport Beach, CA Duration: 6 Month+ Contract Compensation: $55.00 - 65.00/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in US If interested, please contact Margot Parsons at mparsons@inspyrsolutions.com or call 714-465-5478 Summary: The Control Group implements the firm's MNPI Policy and all related procedures including permanent and temporary information barriers and maintains our client's restricted trading lists and watchlists. This individual will be executing procedures designed to: Control the receipt and flow of material non-public information ( "MNPI”); Update and maintain various restricted trading lists Provide additional support as needed for other MNPI-related policies and procedures. The position requires a compliance professional with strong interpersonal and analytical skills who can flourish in a challenging and fast-paced work environment, who can accomplish objectives through frequent shifts in daily priorities as business needs arise and dictate. Very strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and exceptional attention to details are key requirements for success in the position. Responsibilities Support the activities of the Control Group function, working closely with members of the Compliance and Legal departments globally Review requests for expert network interactions from our client's investment professionals Chaperone internal wall-crossings and other meetings, as needed Review and grant access, as appropriate, to virtual data rooms by investment professionals Assist investment professionals with planned or inadvertent receipt of MNPI Maintain the various restricted lists accurately and promptly and assist in improving coordination in handling confidential information across the firm. Candidates Should: Be prepared to develop an understanding of our client's business and the role of the Control Group in advancing the firm's objectives. Be familiar with insider trading laws and regulations in the U.S. and understand the concept of a public and private side. Be comfortable handling the receipt of confidential information and MNPI in accordance with established procedures, escalating when appropriate. Demonstrate the ability to execute the main processes and controls protecting the firm from actual and perceived insider trading violations or other violations of the law, SEC regulations, and the MNPI Policy.
