The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a growth mindset, responsible for expanding the organization's programs to a national scale. This role demands a high level of executive skills, including strategic leadership, fundraising, and financial management. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and execute strategic and operational plans, supervise and grow the current staff, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Fundraising is a key aspect of the position, and the Executive Director will be expected to create and oversee a comprehensive fundraising strategy, manage the foundation's budget, and ensure a sustainable asset base. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years' of senior-level management experience. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in fundraising, experience in board development, and the ability to build a culture of philanthropy. Professional qualifications include excellent communication skills, the ability to think strategically, and a commitment to the values of the organization. The Executive Director should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and flexible, with a positive and resilient attitude. A background in strategic planning and experience in a rapidly evolving organization are also desirable.
