About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring Executive Director to lead our foundation in its vital mission of enhancing seat belt use and decreasing fatalities and injuries related to non-seat belt use, with a particular focus on teens. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader who is enthusiastic about expanding our programs on a national scale. The successful candidate will embody a growth mindset and possess strong executive skills, including strategic leadership, fundraising, and financial management.
The Executive Director will collaborate closely with our Board of Directors to formulate and implement strategic and operational plans, oversee and develop our current staff, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations. Fundraising is a crucial aspect of this position, and the Executive Director will be responsible for creating and managing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, as well as overseeing the foundation's budget to maintain a sustainable asset base.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess a minimum of 5-7 years of senior-level management experience. A proven record in fundraising, experience with board development, and a passion for fostering a culture of philanthropy are essential qualifications. We are looking for a creative thinker excited about scaling the foundation, and a motivating leader capable of fostering a supportive team environment.
