Job Description

Join Our REAL Food Mission!

We are seeking a polished and experienced Food Service Director to lead both front-of-house and back-of-house dining operations at a luxury senior living community in Beaumont, TX.

Our client offers an elevated senior living experience, focused on exceptional hospitality, beautifully crafted meals, and personalized resident care.

About the Community We Serve

In this community, the dining experience is at the center of resident satisfaction. The setting reflects high-end hospitality standards, offering a concierge-style, detail-driven, and warm environment where every meal becomes a meaningful connection.

Your Role and Impact

As Food Service Director, you will oversee the entire dining operation, with a strong emphasis on front-of-house service excellence. You will ensure the dining room operates like a five-star hospitality venue while collaborating closely with the culinary team to maintain smooth, efficient back-of-house coordination.

You will lead, mentor, and inspire the service team, manage relationships with residents, clients, and leadership, and oversee financial and operational performance — all while creating an inviting and polished dining experience for all.

What You Will Do

  • Lead front-of-house service operations, setting and maintaining five-star hospitality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and address their feedback with empathy, professionalism, and follow-through.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on weekly menu development and updates, ensuring alignment with resident preferences and nutritional needs.
  • Oversee both dining room and kitchen organization, staffing, scheduling, and operational flow.
  • Develop and mentor staff, cultivating a positive team culture centered around excellence and service.
  • Manage budgets, labor, and inventory with a strong financial and strategic approach.
  • Utilize IT systems to handle reporting, scheduling, and administrative tasks with precision.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with residents, the executive team, and client partners.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across both front and back of house.
  • Uphold and continuously improve clear, detailed, and standardized service processes.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need

  • 3-5 years proven leadership experience as a Food and Beverage Director, Culinary Director, or Hospitality Director, preferably in luxury senior living, fine dining, country clubs, or high-end hospitality.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or ability and willingness to obtain, strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of both front-of-house service standards and back-of-house operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage residents and lead diverse teams.
  • Process-oriented with high attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including budget management and labor oversight.
  • Proficient with IT systems, including POS, inventory, scheduling, and reporting platforms.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
  • A genuine passion for creating elegant, meaningful dining experiences.

Physical and Sensory Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Capacity to lead and assist in a fast-paced, dynamic dining environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and visual attention to detail for guest service and food quality assurance.

What’s in it for You

  • Competitive annual salary range between $76,000 and $82,000 annually , based on experience.
  • 10% Bonus structure based on performance.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • 401(k) with company match and profit-sharing program.
  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and paid family care leave.
  • Access to wellness resources and professional development programs.
  • A welcoming, mission-driven company culture focused on respect, quality, and teamwork.

If you are an experienced hospitality professional ready to elevate dining in senior living to a five-star experience — we would love to meet you!
