Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and modifications to a wide range of electrical systems and equipment to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities, including VFD, PLC, HMI, photocells, limit switches, encoders, proximity sensors, analog and digital devices, and DC controls.
- Use LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures to ensure safety during maintenance and repair activities.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and circuits using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Work with 3-phase, 480V systems.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations in line with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial/Commercial Electrician.
- Proven ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) protocols.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with 3-phase, 480V systems.
- A strong understanding of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work.
- Ability to diagnose and remedy faults with electrical systems and equipment.
