APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Vicksburg, MI looking to add a Paint Technician to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot paint line equipment while ensuring high-quality production. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:

• Help supervise and train operators and utility staff.
• Coordinate department workflow and ensure smooth production.
• Set up, adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot paint line and related equipment.
• Monitor product quality and complete process checks and reports.
• Communicate production issues and changes with other shifts.
• Work with other departments to maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.
• Mix paint, perform pad printing, hot stamping, and use other tools as needed.
• Track and record color and gloss readings (SPC charting).
• Repair and maintain paint guns and racks.
• Follow safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
• Document process changes and ensure proper training is completed.
• Support paint line operations as needed.

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience with painting in a manufacturing environment; powder coat or spray painting preferred
• Excellent attitude and willingness to learn
• Completion of all required post-hire training modules within the designated timeframe.
• Minimum score on required client testing.
