Job Description

Join our client’s growing and stable team as an Industrial (Automotive) Painter in the High Point, NC area. In this role, you will prepare and apply coatings, and paint finishes to automotive and industrial parts, ensuring each product meets high-quality appearance and durability standards. This is a great opportunity to use your precision and technical skills in a hands-on environment with room to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Hold or position spray guns to direct paint or coating onto articles
• Fill hoppers, reservoirs, troughs, or pans with coating materials
• Start and stop operation of spray machines using levers or control panels
• Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspection or by using viscometers
• Attach hoses or nozzles to spray machines and adjust for proper spray distribution
• Inspect finished surfaces to verify smoothness and uniform color application
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as an industrial or automotive painter preferred
• Knowledge of paint mixing, spraying techniques, and finish quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify surface defects or inconsistencies
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noise levels
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

The base pay range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
