USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Messaging Lead

• Leads the provisioning and support of enterprise end user messaging services including email and chat.

• Leads the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of messaging services.

• Analyzes message traffic metrics and develops reports.

• Provides daily operations support for Office 365 production and test tenants as well as managing configuring services and features.

• Provides the preservation of legacy data that is required for storage and retrieval in accordance with data retention policies, regulations, and statutes.

• Has deep understanding of messaging technologies like Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Slack, Teams, and managing their configuration, security settings, and performance.

• Oversees messaging-related projects like system upgrades, new feature implementations, and migration to new platforms.

• Monitors system usage, forecasts future needs, and proactively scales messaging infrastructure to accommodate growth.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience

• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility

• Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC or CySA+

• Location: Offutt AFB, NE

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
