Your Role as a Nonprofit Relationship Manager:

The Nonprofit Relationship Manager will establish and nurture strategic relationships with nonprofit associations, professional groups, and affiliate organizations across the US and Canada. This position is an industry connector to affiliates and associations that have been meaningful sources of clients, but underserved channels of outreach and promotion. This role will personally create new industry connections with the goal of developing them into marketing channels through sponsorships, advertising opportunities, and collaborative partnerships to reach nonprofit development professionals and executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and prioritize nonprofit associations and professional groups that align with DonorPerfect's target audience
  • Develop and manage relationships with 50+ target associations annually
  • Scope sponsorship packages, advertising placements, and event participation
  • Coordinate DonorPerfect's presence at association events and conferences through relationships with key contacts
  • Create tailored content and promotional materials for association audiences
  • Track ROI metrics for each partnership and optimize spend accordingly
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate association initiatives with the broader marketing strategy
  • Maintain detailed records of all association contacts and activities in CRM
  • Track and manage the process and assets within agreements with industry experts

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects; a resourceful self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel (15-20% of time)
  • Willingness to present at industry conferences and webinars

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in partnership development, account management, or a similar role
  • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector, particularly fundraising and development
  • Experience with event management and sponsorship activation
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, nonprofit management, or related field

Compensation

This full-time, remote position offers a total compensation range of $75,000$90,000 USD, depending on your experience and skills. Our compensation package is designed to recognize your contributions, reward outstanding performance, and support your long-term growth.

Total Compensation includes:

  • Competitive base salary
