The Outreach Event Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and supporting multiple outreach projects with leading/assisting with planning, coordinating and executing of various outreach and education activities including classes, equipment demonstrations, meetings, etc. From the initial concept through execution and post-event evaluation, this role ensures each event runs smoothly, on budget and delivers an exceptional experience for attendees further advancing our mission, increasing engagement and fostering strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of the assigned event(s) from conception to completion.

• Develop project timelines and manage deadlines for event deliverables.

• Coordinate with vendors, venues, and contractors to ensure smooth logistics.

• Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure events are executed within financial parameters.

• Developing positive relationships with clients by maintaining strong and responsive communications and fostering goodwill.

• Keep track of customer contact information and build our database for outreach campaigns.

• Create and distribute outreach materials (flyers, newsletters, social media content).

• Collaborate with marketing to promote events across channels (emails, social media, press releases).

• Ensure event compliance with health, safety and organizational policies.

• Gather feedback and analyze post-event data to improve future programming.

• Respond to outside event requests for speaking engagements and seek out opportunities for speaking engagements and other outreach events

• Partner with industry trade organizations on outreach events and training opportunities

• Assist in creation of class subjects and overall yearly curriculum for FSTC internal and external classes

• Represent Frontier Energy at select outreach events

• Channel customer contacts from outreach events to appropriate engineering and technical staff for follow-up.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2-3 years of experience in outreach coordination, event planning or community engagement.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Canva, and event/project management tools.
