Since you’ve done this before, you know it’s a fun job—you really do get paid to watch TV, study, or just enjoy a quiet night away from home with pets. But it’s also a serious gig: living, breathing creatures rely on us for their safety, comfort, and care.

TAILored Pet Services (trusted Everett pet care company since 2011) is looking for dependable Overnight Pet Nannies to attend slumber parties in clients’ homes—where pets are the VIP guests!

You’ll feed dinner, offer potty breaks, snuggle on the couch, and then spend the night helping pets feel safe and cozy in their own home. In the morning, you’ll serve breakfast and provide one last potty break before heading out.

Requirements

• 18+ years old (insurance requirement).
• Pass a federal background check (required).
• Two overnight pet sitting references from homes where you had sole responsibility for the pets.
• Comfortable staying 12–16 hours overnight in client homes.
• Able to cover at least one winter holiday.
• Service areas: Everett, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Edmonds, Mukilteo, Lake Stevens, and Mountlake Terrace.
• Commitment: Role begins with a 3-month trial period. If both sides agree it’s a fit, you’ll then sign a 12-month agreement. The agreement includes a liquidated damages clause (up to $1,000) for early withdrawal—because pets and clients rely on you, and cancellations leave them stranded. Even if you accept a full-time job elsewhere, you must still be able to honor overnight assignments. Reliability is non-negotiable.
• Highly desirable: Willing to return for mid-day potty breaks when needed.

Compensation (Flat-Rate, Per Project)

• $67.50 for a 12-hour overnight (standard)
• $78.75 for a 16-hour overnight (extended)
• +25% more on holidays
• Plus tips and client bonuses.
• This role pays per assignment—most of the time is downtime, but you’re fully responsible the whole night.
