Job Description
An overnight warehouse job description includes receiving and unloading shipments, stocking and organizing inventory on shelves and in storage, and preparing orders for delivery. Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Unloading:
Unload new merchandise from delivery trucks and transport it to the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
Stocking & Organization:
Place products on shelves, organize inventory, and ensure all items are properly labeled and displayed.
Inventory Management:
Conduct inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and replenish items as needed.
Order Fulfillment:
Gather merchandise for outgoing orders, prepare them for dispatch, and load them onto trucks.
Safety & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhere to safety procedures, and report any damaged merchandise or equipment faults to supervisors.
Machinery Operation:
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment to move and store goods.
