Salary: $20.00-$40.00/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountantwith strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (2018 or earlier) and a passion for clean, accurate financials. This is a hybrid remote role, with some local client travel required and the flexibility to work from home.

What Were Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience and be confident in the following areas:

• QuickBooks Expertise, including:
  • Accounts Receivable (invoicing, deposits)
  • Accounts Payable (bill entry, payments, check functions)
  • Bank account management and reconciliations
  • Credit card entry and reconciliations
  • Payroll entry (third-party or QuickBooks payroll)
  • Job costing
  • Reviewing reports (with manager guidance)
• Tech Proficiency:
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop is required; QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage, etc., are a plus
• Accounting Knowledge:
  • Comfortable identifying and correcting errors from prior bookkeeping
  • Understanding of cash vs. accrual accounting
  • Experience onboarding new clients and cleaning up financial statements
  • GAAP knowledge preferred

Education Requirements:

• At least 2 years of community college coursework focused on accounting or bookkeeping
