We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, tax filings, financial analysis, monthly reporting, and reconciliation in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our organization, preparing financial statements, and ensuring our financials are accurate and compliant. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and a deep understanding of financial principles, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
3. Handle tax filings, including federal, state, and local tax returns.
4. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
5. Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
6. Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger, and prepare month-end close procedures.
7. Ensure compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations, preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
8. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and processes.
10. Assist in other finance-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in financial accounting in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis.
4. Solid experience with tax filings and compliance.
5. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
7. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
10. CPA certification is a plus.
