\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n• Work on 34-bed medical surgical unit (maximum capacity 43 patients)
\n• Patient ratio of 5:1
\n• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, 1 unit secretary
\n• Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit secretary
\n• Work with remote telemetry equipment
\n• Use Meditech electronic medical records system
\n• BLS certification required
\n• NIH Stroke certification preferred
\n• ACLS certification preferred
\n• General medical surgical procedures with stroke and neurology focus
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Must demonstrate upbeat, engaged, and compassionate personality
