Warehouse Workers, also known as package handlers, at UPS are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages efficiently to ensure timely delivery. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy packages up to 70 lbs, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The UPS Half Moon warehouse will soon be opening!
Before you start, we need to get you up-to-speed on some important details so you're ready to hit the
ground running.
New employees that are hired to work in this building will train for up to 4 weeks at our nearby Albany
warehouse. They will then switch to the warehouse moving forward.

Who exactly are UPS Warehouse Workers?
Also known as package handlers, many of our warehouse workers load/unload packages in and out of
UPS trailers or our signature brown trucks. Others sort packages to ensure they make it to the right
destination. They are a collaborative, energetic team- and they enjoy fast-paced work.
