Hourly Pay Range: $19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights: - Position: Phlebotomist II Outpatient
- Locations: Elmhurst Hospital-Center for Health, 172 Schiller Street, Elmhurst and 8 Salt Creek Lane Hinsdale
- Part Time: 0.5 FTE (20 hrs./week or 40/hrs. each pay period)
- Hours: Rotating shifts 7am-11am or 8am -12pm; Includes every other Saturday and rotating Sundays and holidays.
What you will do :
- Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures prepares, collects, logs and labels specimens for testing.
- Performs pre-analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
- Registers patient information and orders laboratory tests in the computer system.
- Arranges specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.
What you will need: - High School Diploma or GED or higher
- Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program including 100 hours of on-site clinical site training
- Phlebotomy certification, preferred
