Job Description

The Technical Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the deployment of Azure-based cloud solutions, including front-end and back-end components such as React UI, Spring Boot applications, and HTML services.

This role ensures timely, compliant, and high-quality releases by collaborating with cross-functional teams and continuously optimizing deployment processes.

The position also involves managing project delivery, mentoring team members, and contributing to broader strategic technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage deployment strategies for product lines, optimizing plans with leadership guidance
• Plan, coordinate, and manage deployment of Azure solutions across React UI, Spring Boot, and HTML backend services
• Develop and maintain detailed deployment schedules and documentation
• Ensure compliance with change management and release policies
• Monitor deployment progress and proactively manage risks and issues
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams for successful releases
• Troubleshoot deployment-related issues and drive timely resolutions
• Lead post-deployment reviews and integrate lessons learned into future releases
• Manage project delivery against business objectives, timelines, and budgets
• Track and control project financials, ensuring timely delivery of quality products
• Identify and communicate risks and gaps, working with stakeholders for mitigation
• Provide guidance and mentoring to team members while promoting diversity and inclusion
• Act as a business consultant for small implementations by aligning solutions with customer priorities
• Contribute to digital transformation roadmaps in line with client business strategies
• Maintain strong stakeholder communication and client relationships throughout project execution
• Recommend process improvements and contribute to efficient implementation practices
• Interface regularly with onsite/offshore stakeholders for smooth project execution
• Work with product and design teams to improve customer experience and implementation success

• Minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience
• At least 3 years in a deployment, release, or DevOps management role
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services (Azure VMs, AKS, App Services, etc.)
• Proven experience managing deployment of React UI, Spring Boot applications, and backend services
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills
• Experience mentoring teams and leading post-deployment analysis and improvements
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira)

• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
• Background in digital transformation and product lifecycle consulting
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools
